Job Description

CRDF Global is seeking summer interns.

Selected interns will work in the Security Assistance Division. Interns will assist in areas including program implementation, business development, and monitoring and evaluation tasks.Under this role, interns will work closely with Security Assistance program teams on various tasks including but not limited to one of the following: conducting subject area research; contributing to monthly program reviews and reporting; developing trainings on CRDF Global's remote learning platform REDOX; and assisting program teams utilizing Sharepoint and Salesforce.

The ideal candidate is a highly motivated individual who can work both independently and as part of the team to develop solutions to mitigate the proliferation of CBRNE threats, counterproliferation and border security challenges, and who enjoys working in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

The internship will begin remotely with the option of coming into the Arlington office. Candidates from outside of the DC, Maryland, and Virginia area must have a local address in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia region.

CRDF Global seeks interns for the following projects:

  • Work with program teams to support overall program implementation
  • Support program teams on remote learning platforms to develop and implement trainings
  • Conduct research and help program teams design projects related to any of the following subjects:
    • CBRNE security and nonproliferation, counter-proliferation, strategic trade controls and border security, cybersecurity
    • Region- or technical subject matter-specific overviews
  • Work with program teams to further develop our subject-matter expert/consultant database in Salesforce
  • Support growth efforts, including organizing Speaker Series and Thought Leadership Events
  • Assist other interns in the creation of a group project


  • Possesses or pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in related field
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent critical thinking/problem solving skills
  • Ability to work at least 20 hours per week with a maximum of 28 hours per week
  • U.S. work authorization

CRDF Global pays interns at a rate of $15/hour.
