Job Description

The Indoor Facilities Intern position at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University offers a unique experience of working hands-on in all aspects of Athletics in a way that most major universities cannot offer. The intern will be involved in all phases of facilities management, as well as day to day operations and Athletic facility requests.

Specific duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Promote student employee success through the recruitment, supervision and training of the support staff.
  • Lead student employees in athletic & special event setup, management, transition, and breakdown.
  • Aid in the coordination of internal & external special events.
  • Secure and supervise all facilities.


Details and Benefits

10-month position from August through May (specific dates negotiable). This internship is non-salaried, however interns will be compensated at a rate of $1,450 per month to offset their living expenses.Total compensation is $14,500. In addition, this internship offers an optional University meal plan (taxable). Housing and health insurance are not included.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or three (3) or more years of study in an facilities management degree program or related work experience
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
