Description:

Initially (through 12/31/2024), the consultant will conduct environmental and safety compliance dedicated support for a specific client in a remote capacity in a data administration role. The scope is defined as follows:

Review each site-specific environmental permit and identify permit compliance requirements. Permits may include air emissions, stormwater, wastewater, Above Ground Storage Tanks, Underground Storage Tanks, hazardous material storage, hazardous waste management, building occupancy, etc. depending on the type and complexity of a site.

The consultant will need to be able to work independently and communicate well with clients. The ability to identify issues related to environmental, health and safety requirements, and develop practical recommendations for corrective actions and on-going compliance. The ability to interpret regulations and understand best practices for effective implementation.

• BA/BS degree in Environmental Sciences, Health and Safety, Geology, Business Analytics, or related discipline.
• 0-3 years of compliance related experience. Industry or consulting experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and detail oriented
• Auditing and consulting skillsets in the area of compliance assurance (e.g. metrics such as emissions, water use, waste generation, recycling, injury & illness statistics) are desired
• Strong technical writing skills and the ability to successfully multi-task
• Experience with data management and report preparation.
• Valid driver's license and good driving history
• Strong communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (particularly Excel).
