The salary range for this role is:

$18.64 - $29.77

Responsibilities:

The primary responsibilities of the Distribution Coordinator include processing orders, scheduling appointments, create schedules, reconcile daily transactions and back-up for shipping and receiving in the Distribution Department.

  • Verifies orders and checks truck drivers in and out of the DC
  • Schedules appointments in ACS and creates the daily Shipping and Receiving Schedule (OTR, Flats & Pflug) for the crews.
  • Log truck trailer in and out times into Transplace
  • Assist the Department Supervisors and DC Supervisors as needed
  • Create Trailers and assign Movement numbers in Blue Yonder as needed
  • Checks and Dispatches orders in both Blue Yonder and BPCS.
  • Organizes and files shipping BOLs and Receipt Packing Lists
  • Checks off the daily transaction report (DTR) against shipping and receiving orders.
  • Process Receipts for Chep Pallets
  • Monitor and reconcile shipping and receipt discrepancies in RED01
  • Creates and processes shop orders for DRU's in BPCS as needed.
  • Process Sundry/Salvage orders
  • Performs research for deduction claims
  • Create and send Notice Of Change (NOC) forms for stock discrepancies
  • Other administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years working an appointment desk, preferably in a Distribution Center environment
  • Must be computer proficient, experience in WMS preferred.
  • Ability to develop positive working relationships and communicate with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong partnership with production planners, maintenance teams and outside contractors will be required.
  • Professionalism and strong communication skills required for day to day work, as well as for frequent interaction, coordination, scheduling, and planning with outside contractors and partners.
  • Must understand and abide by HACCP processes, Good Manufacturing Procedures (GMPs) and industrial safety practices.
  • Must possess prior working experience (minimum 3 years) within a food manufacturing setting or comparable industry.
  • Prior experience with a CMMS or PM tracking systems preferred.
  • Experience leading maintenance departments required.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, Outlook.
  • Knowledge of SAP Inventory systems required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Analytical thinking.
  • Excellent organization skills and the ability to multi-task.
  • Strong work ethic with proven ability to work with deadlines and commitment.
  • Capable of handling multiple tasks on a daily basis when required.
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams and coordinate well with others.
